The District has established requirements related to the plugging of certain water wells within the Rules of the District.  Proper plugging of water wells is an important aspect to protecting and conserving groundwater resources.

In order to protect groundwater resources, the District accepts and considers applications from well owners for finanical assistance for the plugging of water wells within Victoria County.  The Board of Directors have budgeted $5,000.00 for cost-sharing the expense of plugging wells for the fiscal year.
