The Victoria County Groundwater Conservation District manages and protects our county's groundwater for the benefit of all users, including future generations. The district is a local government entity that is governed by a locally elected board and accountable to county voters.
In 2005 the Legislature created the district and voters confirmed it by a margin of 73 percent. Now the district is developing its foundation documents – a management plan and rules.
We need your help in this very important effort.
We want your input on a range of issues that must be addressed in the management plan and rules.
These include well registration, well spacing and production limits.
